My reflection on 9/11 ETA: I'm fluctuating back and forth on whether or not to allow comments. Thank you to those who have their own stories to share and who have defended me against the vitriol. Though the negative commentary didn't sway me much, it does tend to turn this into a place where people spew hatred. As I alluded to in the video, my experience on 9/11 was far from the most traumatic. Regardless, it was still an experience. It was a painful day and a scary day and I in no way made this video to seek attention or to try and trivialize the pain of others. The world is filled with an unbearable amount of suffering, and I'm incredibly lucky to have only felt a sliver of it in my life. I made this to reflect. I don't buy into the over-hyped media blitz for the anniversary, but that doesn't mean I don't feel anything. We were all affected in some way on 9/11. Countless lives were lost unnecessarily that day, and countless lives have been lost unnecessarily since then. It's been a rough decade
